McCain In, Romney Out!

It's over for the Republican Primary. We can safely assume that McCain will get the nod from the GOP even though there is resistance from the conservative base. Romney stated that, "If I fight on in my campaign, all the way to the convention, I would forestall the launch of a national campaign and make it more likelythat Senator Clinton or Obama would win. And in this time of war, I simply cannot let my campaign, be a part of aiding a surrender to terror," at the Conservative Political Action Conference inWashington. Is that really the reason Romney? Perhaps, it isn't that you were humiliated on Super Tuesday not only by McCain but by Huckabee. Perhaps, you realized that shelling out $35 million of your own personal money when the donations were not coming in was detrimental to your personal finances. Maybe, you weren't the real conservative that you intended to be. Or it could just be that you did not want to be remembered as the candidate that lost to the first woman or African-American candidate. Whatever the reason . . . you have suspended your bid for the GOP nomination and even though you do not claim to be ending it, let's not kid ourselves . . . you have. You lost even though you hate to lose. You made a bad business decision and now as an intelligent business man you have decided to liquidate. Goodnight Romney, good luck with your endeavors and thank you for not becoming our next President and thank you for making it clear that McCain will be remembered in history as the GOP candidate that lost to either the first woman or African American candidate.
